2. We actually had the opportunity to celebrate Ethan's birthday at our house this year. We did a ice cream shop theme. It was fun to get to celebrate with Jeff's entire family.
3. Trey had his final Tball games this month. It was a quick season but he enjoyed every minute of it.
4. Tenley turned 6 months old! I can't believe how fast she is growing up and how much she changes daily.
6. Kestley had her well check. Everything looked great. She is in the 50% for her height and weight. And she met all of her milestone markers and more.
7. Jeff had to go back to the dr. for his mole. The biopsy came back clear but they decided that they would remove it anyway so that it wouldn't cause problems later. He was in alot of pain for the day and it was in the middle of his back so he struggled sleeping and everytime he would move it would pull on his stitches. However, they got it removed so he shouldn't have to worry about it anymore.
8. We finally had some warm weather and had the chance to get the pool out. The kids had so much fun swimming and splashing in the pool. It is fun to watch them play together and to see the love that they have for each other.
9. We had the opportunity to feed the missionaries from our ward. This time it was the younger missionaries. Trey was so excited to have two missionary men come over. He had to show him all his tricks and toys and of course Kestley had to join in.
10. Trey had his last day of pre-school. I can't believe he has already made it through a year of school. It went by way too fast. Now I understand why people say, before you know it they will be graduating high school. For the last day of school they had a big party and the parents were invited to come. So I went and had breakfast with him and then they played games and spent some time playing as a class. It was fun to see him interact with his classmates.
11. I convinced Jeff to let me do my final big house project, even though he told me I had to wait 2 years. We took on the kitchen. So we ripped out the cabinets, counter top, part of a wall, moved the electrical, moved the plumbing, moved the dishwasher and the oven. Then we had to get it put back together before the counter top guy came to measure. I always made fun of those people on tv who have to rush to get their cabinets in before the counter top people come, yeah we gave ourselves extra time and still had to work late a few nights and rush to get them done the morning they were coming. Then we had to wait almost 3 weeks for the counter tops to come in. Nothing like hurrying up and waiting. And let me telling you having no kitchen or a make shift kitchen for almost a a month and a half is no fun. But I must say I love my new cabinets.
12. Jeff's Dad got put in charge of setting up another Summer Palooza at our church. There was lots of live music and dancing. Jeff and the kids all performed. And it was fun for Jeff to have all of his siblings there this time.
13. We spent 4 nights in Seattle with Jeff's family. We stayed at The Shuey House or as Trey called it, The Mansion. We stayed in an upstairs apartment area that had two bedrooms a living room and kitchenette and a bathroom. Then below us there was a floor with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one being the master bedroom and bath). Then the main floor had a family room, a living room and formal dining room and a kitchen. Then in the basement there were 4 or 5 more bedrooms and a living room, dining room and kitchen. It was nice that we all had plenty of space but at the same time we were all still together. While in Seattle we went to Pike Place Market, A Mariners game, did some shopping, ate at Ivar's seafood restaurant, went to Snoqualmie Falls, and spent lots of time visiting with family.
14. We left for a 7 day Alaska Cruise on a big boat as the kids called it. Once we were on the boat waiting for it to launch, Trey turned around and asked me when we were going to get on the big boat. Check out next month to see all the details of the cruise.
