1. Tball continued this month and Trey enjoyed every minute of every game. He also had alot of supporters who came to watch him; Grandma and Grandpa Sox, Grandma and Grandpa Hodges, Uncle Matt, Uncle Mike, and Cousin Gavin. (Along with his parents and sisters!)
2. We put in a sprinkler system. My dad kept telling me as I was digging the trench for the pipe to keep thinking with every scoop of dirt it was one less time I would have to go move the water. That kept me motivated for a little while but it got old real quick. However, we got it all installed, with the help of my dad and his friend Dale.
3. Jeff went to the Dr. to get a mole checked out on his back and some weird skin patches on his knees and hands. He ended up having a biopsy on the mole and they told him the skin patches were caused by dry skin and loss of pigment in his skin.
4. We took a trip to Portland and stopped by the temple and spent some time walking around. It was fun to see the excitement on the kids face as we talked about the temple and spent some time on the grounds.
5. Some of our good friends moved again. It seems like everytime we make friends they end up moving away. (I am not sure if we should take this personal or not!) The Whitmans who lived just around the corner from us and had 4 kids moved away. They played tball together and went to church together. Trey always asks when they can come back and play.
6. Man I must be getting old! I can't believe that my niece is old enough to graduate from college! We are so proud of her. Congrats Nikkole!
7. Trey went to the dentist and got a clean bill of health. They were very impressed and thought that he did a great job brushing his teeth.
8. Now that we had a sprinkler system in we decided that we wanted grass in the back yard. And rather then planting seed and waiting for it to grow and then having patches in random places and since we didn't have the greatest soil in the back yard we decided to go the sod route. It was alot of dirty work but it was well worth it.
9. We also got a load of gravel for the front plant area and also for the kids slide and play structure. we wanted to get the yard put somewhat together before summer began. We also replaced some of the old blocks out front that were falling down and made a much nicer planter area.
10. We celebrated mothers day. Jeff made me breakfast in bed, we planted some flowers for grandma Hodges and we spent a day with grandma Sox. That afternoon we went to Grandma Hodges house with grandma Sox and Aunt Stephanie and family had the boys cooked us dinner. Jeff made a yummy Chocolate raspberry cobbler.
11. Trey had a very bad cough and a really high fever that just kept coming back. He was very sluggish, and wanted to lay around all day, which is not normal for him. So we took him to the Dr. and found out that he had walking pneumonia. They gave him some medicine and within a few days he was back to being his normal self.
12. I had the opportunity to sub at the middle school. I know I have said this before but I truly love working with that age group and hope that someday I can get a teaching job teaching middle school.
13. Jeff had a Furlough Friday, which trey loves because he gets to make a list of activities that he wants to do and we spend the day crossing off that list. Some of the activities included playing basketball, make puppets and do a puppet show, soccer, riding bikes, going to the ice cream shop and playing wii. (note, that was just a few of the activities on the list)
14. Memorial Day- We went to the park and played and went for a "hike" down by the river. And of course we had to make a stop at the ice cream shop!
15. Our friends the Whitman's came back to visit. They had dr. appointments so they stopped by here to play in between visits and Trey was thrilled to get to see them again.
16. Tenley started to roll and act like an inch worm. She sees her brother and sister and wants to be involved in everything they are doing. It won't be long before she is crawling and really causing problems!
17. Kestley celebrated her 3rd birthday by having a Yo Gabba Gabba! Party. I made her a plex (one of the characters) cake, and we had all the family over for dinner at our house. And of course she was spoiled!
18. We had a play day up at Sorosis Park with our cousins Gavin and Jaynee. We all crammed onto the tire swing to see how fast we could get spinning. Luckily no one got sick!
