2. The refinance on our house finally came through. It was exciting to finally cut our interest rate in half.
3. I had the chance to work with my dad to help build an addition to my in-law's deck. I enjoy getting to spend time with my dad and working with him. He is a great teacher and a hard worker. And I just hope that I can remember some of the things that he has taught me.
4. Trey's soccer camp continued. He goes once a week for an hour and a half. They get to play inside in a small gym. His skills seem to keep getting better every week.
5. We had the opportunity to feed the missionaries in our church. This time it was a little bit different because we got to feed the senior missionaries. However, they are young senior missionaries. But the kids enjoyed it, and had fun showing them all their tricks that they can do.
6. Trey had his first Tball meeting. He learned which team he was on and who his coach was. He is on the Thunder and his coach is a friend from church, Cooper Whitman. He is so excited to get to play.
7. The two older kids got to have another sleep over with Grandma and Grandpa Hodges. The kids love getting to spend time with their grandparents as well as their cousins.
8. Kestley got her hair cut. It was starting to get long again so my mom came over and cut her hair for me. I am still too chicken to do it myself.
9. MLS soccer season began. So Jeff and the kids got all decked out in their Timbers gear to watch the first game on TV. They were all so excited to have their scarfs on and to sing along with some of the Timbers chants.
10. Kestley gets a little lost when Trey is at school all morning. This day I came out of the kitchen to find her showing Tenley all her toys and also reading her scriptures to her. It was pretty adorable. And Tenley was even cooing back at her.
11. We took the kids shopping in portland and they both got some new shades. So of course they had to pose for a picture to show them off.
12. The yard work continues. We got a truck load of top soil to mix in with the sand and to finish leveling off the back yard. However, we still have a dirt/mud pit!
13. The floor in the new bathroom started to bubble up. So I pulled a section up to find that the hard wood floor underneath it had buckled and was wet. I pulled off the baseboards and found that the sheet rock was wet. So I went to the other side of the wall and found that our washer had been leaking. One of the gaskets on the hoses had cracked and was slowly leaking. So we got all the water cleaned up and everything dried out and put back together.
14. We started working on potty training with Kestley. We bought her a little doll that could sit on the potty next to her, sang some songs, lots of stickers, and lots of treats, but she started to pick it up with in a few days. But we still have along ways to go.
15. I tried to let my domestic skills shine again. I decided to attempt to make my daughter a skirt. I don't think it would pass 4-H standards but I was pretty proud of how it turned out considering it is the first piece of clothing I have ever made.
16. Trey made a friend. Kyle's great grandma lives next door. Trey and him are the same age and have similar interests. They play outside all day everyday when the weather lets them.
17. Tenley turned 3 months old. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is such a joy and a blessing in our lives.
