2. I had a check up with my Dr. for my c-section and got cleared to start being active again.
3. There was a job opportunity that finally opened up at the local high school. The girls golf job opened, so I applied and got an interview. It was between me and another guy. And the other guy ended up getting it. He had a lot more experience, but it was worth a try.
4. Tenley was blessed at our church. Jeff did a great job and it was great to have some family there to support us. Tenley also wore the same dress that Kestley wore when she was blessed, which was also the dress that I wore as well as my mom. So there was a lot of history that day.
5. We hosted the super bowl party at our house this year. I was pretty excited to try out some new recipes. The best part of the whole night were the cupcakes. There were two kinds, Chocolate with peanut butter frosting and Chocolate with salted caramel frosting.
6. My physical Therapy continued. I have to get a new splint for my finger ever 2-3 weeks. They are slowly trying to straighten it out. Once they get it straight then they will work on my range of motion.
7. I work with the young women in our church. And each year we have a theme that we focus on all year. So this year I took on the project of making them lighted glass blocks for them to be reminded of the theme all year long.
8. Trey is really into Monster Jam right now. And lucky for him they were coming to Portland. So Jeff, My Dad and Trey took an afternoon and went down to watch the Monster Trucks race and crash cars (as Trey says it)
9. Valentine's Day- Trey got to take valentines to school and he was so excited that he got some in return. However, when he went to leave school someone else had taken his bag and so he ended up with all the valentines for a little girl in his class. Later that night Jeff and I had the chance to go out to dinner to Baldwin (we are too chicken to try anything new!)
10. Trey started his second year of kinder kickers. He loves it so much. He loves running and playing soccer. I wish we could put him in AYSO, however they play on Sundays and we believe that we don't participate in sports on Sunday.
11. Old Lady basketball started again. Man did I find out the importance of Ab muscles. It is hard to shoot the basketball without any. But it is a great way for me to get some exercise so I can recover from having baby number 3.
12. Tenley had her 2 month check up. I can't believe how fast the time is going and that she is already two months old. She weighed 11.11 pounds and was 22.75 inches long.
13. Well since our family has grown we decide it was time for our car to grow. I wasn't overly sold on getting a mini van but after spending a day shopping, we ended up with one. I wasn't 100% sold on a van but it didn't take long for me to realize how nice it is to have one.
14. Jeff's co-workers had a baby shower for us. They had a great lunch at the office, and a yummy cake. Tenley got alot of nice clothes, some gift cards, and some blankets. It was nice that they invited the whole family to come.
15. We got a dump truck load of sand. We had it dumped in our driveway so that we could use it to help level out our back yard and fill in some other areas. The kids thought it was great. It was like they had their own sand box in the driveway. They spend hours playing in it every chance they could.
15. We celebrated the birthday of a very special lady this month. We celebrated Jeff's grandma Lucille's birthday.
