This month had some very interesting events take place! We continued to make more progress on our addition. Again I have to thank my dad and Dale for all their hard work. And I have to thank my mom for watching the kids everyday so that I could help with the work. We would have never been able to make all this happen without them.
1. Our family had two birthdays this month. My brother Kevin and our nephew Ethan. Happy Birthday!
2. We celebrated Father's Day. On Saturday I let Jeff relax and sleep in. On Sunday we went over to his parents' house and had dinner with his family and my parents.
3. I had a dr. appointment. We had a scare with the pregnancy and had to go in and have an early ultra sound. Everything ended up being ok, but it was still scary.
4. Both kids were over playing at grandma and grandpa's house. Some how Kestley got her finger slammed in the front door. It cut the finger and broke the nail. There was blood everywhere and both kids were freaking out. When they got to our house Kestley was asleep but quickly woke up to tell me all about the experience. Then fell back to sleep. Then did it all over again when Jeff got home. We couldn't get her to stop crying so we ended up taking her to the ER. They ended up having to knock her out and put in three stitches and to try to replace the nail in the nail bed. So a few hours later, a big bandaid and some antibiotics we returned home.
5. Jeff had been fighting a chest cold for over a month. It wasn't getting better so I finally made him go to the dr. which wasn't easy being that he hadn't ever gone since we moved here. Luckily the dr. that sees myself and the kids was willing to take him. He ended up having to get some antibiotics and an inhaler to finally get everything cleared up in his lungs.
6. A week later I had to take Kestley back to get her stitches out. She was not a happy camper and cried and cried and wanted to go home. We got them removed but the finger was infected. So we had to get some more medicine and take her back to the dr. again in 3 days.
7. Jeff and Trey went to see the movie Cars 2. Trey had been waiting a long time for it to come out so he was excited to finally get to see it. They had a fun boys day at the movie and Kestley and I had a fun girls day around the house and going for a walk.
8. I am a teacher for the young women at our church. So I got nominated to teach a fire safety class for the girls that were going to attend girls camp that summer. I taught them safety, helped them light a fire and then just for fun afterward we made smores.
