2. We had 2 birthdays this month. Happy Birthday Kelsen and Trey.
3. My team had their first soccer games. We have been doing well. I just wish I could get the girls motivated to work harder. However, our last game we had was a team that beat us 9-1 last year and this year we tied them 2-2. I was so excited. It is so fun to see how the girls grow and develop as soccer players in such a short time.
4. Salmon season started! Which means that my wonderful loving husband never sees me before 1pm on Saturday for about a month and a half. He is very supportive of my habits and is willing to watch the kids for me so that I can go out and enjoy some time on the river with my dad.
5. We had Trey's birthday a weekend early this year, because my parents were going to be out of town for his birthday. We had everyone over to our house and fixed dinner. Trey wanted to have a Monster Jam party. I made him a Grave digger cake and we had BBQ pork loin, fresh caught Salmon, watermelon, fries and salad or leaves as Trey calls it. We are so blessed to have both my parents and Jeff's parents in town as well as Jeff's brothers and sister( minus one!) So it is always fun to have everyone over for parties.
6. For Trey's actual birthday we gave him a choice of what he wanted to do. He decided that he wanted to go have a happy meal at McDonalds and play in the playland. Then we went and had ice cream after they played for awhile. He was so excited to get to play in the playland because he wanted to all summer but every time we went he never had socks on so he couldn't play.
7. Trey started school. He was a little nervous when I dropped him off. But I think Kestley had the hardest time. She cried and screamed for Trey when we left him there. Then when we got home she wandered around lost because she didn't have Trey to follow around. So for almost 3 hours I had a shadow about one step behind me.
8. Along with the first week of school Trey got sick. We knew it was going to happen because everything gets passed around at school. We just weren't expecting it the first week. He then shared it with everyone in the family.
9. Trey goes to pre-school 4 days a week. (Mon- Thurs.) We drop him off at 8:05 and pick him up at 10:50. Some of Treys favorites are:
Toy: Monster Trucks and Angry Bird Game
Movie: Gnomeo and Juliet
TV Show: Wipeout and Max and Ruby
Wii Game: Mario Kart
Food: Cooked Cheese Sandwich (aka Grilled Cheese)
Dessert: Ice Cream
Song: Praise to The Man and Dynamite
10. Jeff was cuddling with Kestley trying to get her to go to sleep and she was being wild and wouldn't put her head down. So finally Jeff got after her. She put her head down and started to fake snore. After a while she picked her head up, got right in his face and said, "There, Happy now?" She is such a character and brings so much joy to our lives everyday.
11. Kestley had her 1st hair cut. I was too scared to cut it myself so I made my mom come and do it.
